It's been one year since I joined Engage Recruitment (How did that happen). I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, and I have been presented with many opportunities for me to grow as a person and also to grow and develop within my career.
Engage has supported me from day 1, firstly by Christine Young, who has shown me where and how to get started, and secondly, receiving continuous support from Colin Rowley, who has begun to teach me company finances, including cash flow and sales & purchase payments. (Thank you both!)
I love the environment our team has created while living our company's and personal values. We support and guide each other with tasks and ensure everyone engages as a team.
So far, my highlight at the company has been watching our sales ledger develop, our overdue invoices drop over time, and hitting our balance target. This has meant we are organised and know what stage we are at with each invoice to prevent delays (I love being organised)
I look forward to developing within finance and moving forward with the team ensuring their invoices are paid when due, and our purchases are paid on time, keeping the company running smoothly.
