Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dedicated and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on professional with a passion for product development who is eager to work across the entire product lifecycle. You'll play a lead role in a dynamic team designing and manufacturing cutting-edge medical devices that make a positive impact on the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Project manage an innovative new medical treatment platform, incorporating planning, specification, design, verification on, validation on, and transfer to manufacture.

Effectively lead a product development project team ensuring good cross-functional communications and alignment to ensure timely completion on of the project.

Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritisation and escalation

Manage individual project challenges, risks and recommend solutions to address them.

Ensure all project deliverables are in compliance with QMS and documentation, ensuring deliverables are comprehensively met

Management of internal and external resources including suppliers, subcontractors, quality, regulatory and manufacturing.

Maintaining effective communication on with senior management, customers and the project team through oral and written correspondence ensuring adequate documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Electronics related subject or equivalent experience in product development project management.
  • Proven track record in an product development environment (ideally on a medical device)
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading teams and managing project scope, schedule and ideally budget
  • Excellent organisational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • The candidate should be comfortable to lead meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will have a passionate attitude to champion the project, work across departments and actively drive the project from initiation on to completion on.
  • The role would suit a motivated self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to problem solve, develop solutions and escalate issues as needed.
