Our client is a highly respected care specialist dedicated to empowering young people through care, education, and support. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps young people overcome challenges and thrive. Based in Glasgow, the organisation is seeking a proactive Recruitment Officer to join their friendly and supportive HR team.

As a Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the business attracts and hires the best talent. You’ll collaborate with department heads, particularly in care and education, to meet the organisation's staffing needs and ensure that recruitment efforts align with the company’s mission of supporting young people.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advertise vacancies.
  • Source and engage candidates through multiple recruitment channels.
  • Review and shortlist candidate CVs and applications to match job requirements.
  • Arrange and participate in interviews.
  • Obtain references and any other necessary documents.
  • Respond to enquiries and nurture potential candidates.
  • Organise recruitment events and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Recruitment/HR Experience.
  • Confident communicator, enthusiastic and able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team.
  • Able to use initiative and demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Holidays:

Starting salary is up to £32k, reviewed in the first 6 months and reviewed annually thereafter.
